Review on Sony WF-1000XM3 Black Truly Wireless Earbuds with Mic, up to 32 Hours Battery Life, Stable Bluetooth Connection, Wearing Detection and Alexa Built-in for Noise Cancelling by Asahi Sato ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but overall not bad.

Complete and utter nonsense. For free with a phone, you can overlook their many flaws. But if you want to buy it for $10,000, nafig. Independence is the major drawback. There is no bass and the noise suppression is only average. Already owning 4 B&Os for years, I can attest to their superiority in terms of both sound quality and portability (with the possible exception of tws). The recommended solution to improve autonomy to 4-4.5 hours without significantly affecting sound quality is to disable DSS or anything similar. After 5 months, I can report that the charging issues have been resolved and the sound quality has stayed unchanged, but every 20-30 minutes, the phone loses connection with the headphones, which is quite annoying. Talking on them is next to impossible in noisy public places (and I have them for work trips, so that means at the airport and on the road), as my conversation partners cannot hear me over the background din. In the absence of any other noise, it is OK.

Pros
  • Appearance. The appearance is appealing.
Cons
  • Everything else. The audio quality is below average. Initially, there were problems with the earbuds and case charging to 100%, and then, within 5 minutes, the power was completely drained. Holding the charge for longer than 1 hour and 40 minutes is useless. A conversation is a window into the world, allowing both parties to take in all of their surroundings.
