Revainrating 4 out of 5

Weak seams? fits shower screens

UPDATE: After a few months of use the finish is still perfect, nothing broken, I'm satisfied and my original 4 star rating still stands. Welds can be weak on thinner parts to look out for, but none of them broke. ORIGINAL: I want you to know that I got mine from Warehouse Deals for $14; He stated that 20% of the top, bottom and sides were damaged. With them you never know what that means so I thought I'd check it out because we can always get stuff back with Prime and Warehouse deals. Well, that and the fact that they're now $68 new. So my box looked perfect and everything looked brand new at first glance. Then I noticed that 2 of the 4 baskets had broken spot welds - both in the same back left corner. This will cause the basket to sag in that quadrant when items are in it and likely weaken other welds over time. I decided to keep it because I can fix it by tying it up and no one will look at this cart but me - at least not that close. Mine looks fantastic and I'm very glad I have it. Thing is, someone probably had this item and it broke and it had to be within 30 days of purchase to make a return. It just needs to be taken into account - all other welds appear to be solid. Without a doubt, a very easy part to assemble and install; just a concern the welds might not be as strong as they need to be to hold all of our shampoos, conditioners and soaps. The baskets are a good size and mine hold up quite a bit so I'll be tying my baskets together over each with thin wire to provide extra support. I don't mind but I had to give them a star because I would change that about the product which is my criteria for giving and receiving stars. Appearance is WYSIWYG. Assembly is easy and the instructions are inspirational because many of them can be so bad. They are very well written in many languages, have good diagrams, so assembly is very easy. You give us a customer service number. I can tell if you pick it up to install in the shower hold it upright because the pipes don't stick together, they just slide in without locking or latching. I've assembled mine about 6 times lol. There are enough poles to go quite a distance from floor to ceiling - I have one pole left, actually a medium pole, longer, about 22 inches plus an extra set screw. The 2 large hooks we see on the 3rd basket below are not removable, as is the thin towel rail on the top basket, but we can place each basket anywhere along the bar, any distance apart - a very nice feature. They are tightened with a set screw so they can be adjusted, but not after installation, so make sure the basket - and carriage - is in place before installation. Once the tension is in place, it will do what a lot of shower curtain rods do when we try to move them - damaging the drywall and paint and even tearing them off drywall to protect, but they set in over time and aren't as easy to remove as they're meant to be put in place.
