This reflective tape comes in handy for things you might never have thought of. I use this tape with TapeCase in other widths, tapes on my hard hats, trash cans and lawn mower. I live on the main road and there are always traffic jams on the road. They hit my tanks that are far from the road, so when I'm mowing or doing maintenance, I feel like I'm standing next to the road. Before I put this in my bins, I had to pick up the trash that was being thrown out of my bins every time I took them out for pickup. However, since I put them in my bins on February 1st, I no longer have this problem, the drivers have stayed away. Make sure you wash with Dawn (or similar), rinse well and dry the area to be cleaned. This will remove any possible oils or debris that could affect adhesion on the surface you intend to apply the reflective tape to. Do not apply this tape in cold weather as it will not stick to cold surfaces. I tried and it didn't work, I just wasted the tape. It won't stick to sharp corners but works well with rounded corners. I love this product and have bought several colors and widths. The contrast also attracts attention during the day. One more thing, peeling the clear backing off the tape isn't easy, and sometimes I peel off the white reflective tape before the clear film peels off. This product doesn't reflect the light as much as other, more expensive products, but it works for those of us on a budget. I hope you find this useful
