Ordered these in addition to COVID masks. I wanted something more comfortable that I could wear around my neck to a restaurant or when out for a walk. The ear loops work very well and help keep the mask in place. I have a big head and many masks fall off my nose when I speak. The ear straps seem to help a lot with that. The big issue for me is how thin they are. They have visible holes in the material and are almost translucent. I can still blow out a match with this mask. If you use them on sand, mud and debris they will work just fine. But if you use them for health, dust, allergens or pollen, they may be too thin.
