Long-lasting soft glow when touched with finger

I bought this for a Halloween costume I made for my son. I needed a battery powered flashlight bright enough to illuminate the inside of his alien spacecraft. It also had to be easy to use, as it was placed in the spacecraft where his little hands had to reach to turn it on and off when needed. It was the perfect size and functionality. The light responded very well to his squeezing and touching. He didn't have to keep hitting him to get him to register a contact - it was instantaneous. It was very bright, but with a white cap it softens the light so it's not as glaring or harmful to look at. This also allowed it to illuminate a large area rather than acting as a searchlight. Other highlights: It can be dimmed, which was great for getting the perfect lighting I needed. And has been for a long time. I didn't need to charge it right away, and yet it worked day and night on Halloween. Since then I've used it intermittently as a flashlight and we've been using it for over a month now and it's still as bright as ever without a single charge. The only improvement I would suggest for the flashlight is a stronger magnet. We glued a metal plate into the spaceship to attach the light. When transporting the suit to/from the car, the light kept going out. It was easy enough to put back on because of the magnet, but I wish it was stronger. My guess is that if it were placed vertically along a wall or upside down, it could easily be knocked off the magnetic board when stretched or tapped on the light with moderate pressure. Haven't used it with this method yet (maybe I've since taken it off my suit and used it as a flashlight when I ran to the car at night to get something).
