***updated 2/19/19: The replacement I ordered not only had the same issue but stopped working in less than a week***Pros: You see looks great and the concept is great. They add some class and we wish we could rate them higher. Cons: However, when the artificial candle effect "flickers," it makes a very faint (but still audible) electrical noise that almost makes you think something is shorted out. We replaced the first and were still having trouble with the second. They're UL listed but the noise makes them hard to trust so we won't be using them unsupervised which defeats the purpose of a night light. Looks great, but it will probably only be a Halloween light source. Other reviewers said the light was too dim, but that wasn't the case. In any case, the artificial "flame flickering" is sometimes glaring and a bit spasmodic and not relaxing. The visuals and the concept are great, but we can't recommend it.
