As mentioned, the installation process for them is minimal. Unlike other plugs I've bought, they don't connect to my mesh network (I have about 14 plugs from 5 different manufacturers). As with everything, you have to download their app to connect to your WiFi and they only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi. So if you don't understand the concept, you may be disappointed. After a while I set them all up and they work great with Alexa and everything is fine. It was also annoying that I had to manually enter the Wi-Fi name and password for each device, but it's a one-time exercise anyway and they were great value. You can spend more and simplify the setup process, but in the end they will get the job done.
