Don't want to rate yet as I only received it today. I can tell you the bracket for hanging over the refugium is very short, the light will only be 2 inches from the edge of the swamp. I can place this lamp in the center of my sanctuary. You can use double-sided tape to attach it to the side of the jar, but my hideaway is 12" wide (front to back) and 24" long (sides). aside) So I'm afraid this light won't be strong enough to grow much, but I could be wrong. I will update this post in a few months. I was expecting the light to be a bit larger, but that's my fault for not checking the dimensions before purchasing. In my opinion this lantern is suitable for anyone who has a 10" x 5" retreat, not the 12" x 24" that I have. This light shouldn't cost more than $30.
