Review on Convenience Concepts Brookline End Table: Charcoal Gray/Slate Gray Frame - Sleek and Functional Furniture by Whitney Starvaggi

Missing parts, nicks and tedious assembly

Where to start. The first thing I noticed when unpacking the product was scratches on all three surfaces. This is probably due to the bad packaging. In addition to the scratches, there were small pieces on either side of one of the shelves that cracked and fell off. After fully unpacking all items, it turned out that the Allen key and about ten parts were missing. The Allen key was not a problem, the lack of hardware was another problem. I called the number listed for Convenience Concepts; The phone rang for about a minute, and then I got a message that all the support staff were busy. I tried again later - same thing. So I went to the hardware store. I couldn't find an exact match even with the help of a wizard as the fittings are most likely in centimeters not inches. Now for assembly. I would say it's a process that takes time, a lot of physical effort and a lot of strategy as the parts are not uniform (either holes or even the straightness of the metal). Therefore, only a few parts are lined up, so effort is required. Suffice it to say that you must be patient. When everything is put together it creates a good, durable object made of real wood and metal. However, you have to work for it.
