Moisturizes, helps with acne

Miracles in a jar? No, but it's the next best thing. There is one particular study showing that a mixture of propolis, aloe and tea tree oil is as effective as topical antibiotics in treating superficial acne (more research is needed for cystic acne). Most of this mixture was propolis, which is why I was interested (only 3% was tea tree oil, as using tea tree oil undiluted can cause skin irritation). It looks greasy in photos so I was concerned it would be a waste of time. Money, but the liquid is not sticky or oily. Much thinner than I expected which was good for me. However, don't be fooled by applying this to my face after the mask feels velvety. I sat there for a few minutes and just let it slide over my face because it felt so good. It gives me that glow from within, a fresh look on my face. It evens the tone, but does not completely remove the redness. I bought it to help me wean myself from benzoyl peroxide. So far, so good. I used to apply BP all over my face, but now I only apply it to where I'm prone to cystic acne.
