You are very comfortable! When hiking, they are much lighter than hiking boots. The only downside is that this style is open at the back, so sand, rocks, etc. get into shoes when hiking in areas with such surfaces. But they are perfect for everyday use! and walking on smooth surfaces without loose debris. I didn't know if I would like how they sit on top - like a sock - very tight. I was worried it might get too tight after a while, but that didn't happen. Went on a 3 mile walk and they felt the same when I finished the hike as they did when I started. The color was better than I expected (not a bright color).
