The thermometer is very convenient to use. Just point to your forehead, press the button and it will give you a reading. I think that's a little low but it could also be a thermometer type as they are the least accurate of all types. I'm usually in the 98.6 range for a standard value, but this device always reads me at 97.9. It doesn't matter much, and generally it's needed to get a base level. If my temperature goes up a few degrees from 97.9, I'll know something's wrong. The rest of the device works as it should.
