I had to urgently buy a new splitter; When I found out I could get an extension cord and splitter in one, I jumped at the chance. This eliminates the connection I had to make with a standard Y splitter. For my use (in the garage) I was able to run this thin cable between expansion joints in concrete; but only because of its low profile! There are no quality issues at the moment; I have owned this product for over 30 days. I use this product to stream audio from my PC to two stereo home theater amplifiers. One amplifier drives the subwoofer and the other the peripheral speakers. Works as expected. A+
