I have to say this was one of the best thought out products I have ever bought. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (in another Revain box), everything was well arranged inside. All fasteners are individually packaged, so you don't have to search for the right part. For reference, I used it to mount a 65" TV that weighs about 50 pounds. It is definitely durable and can withstand a lot more. a set of spanners and sockets (SAE). Mounting to the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers: you must locate the wall studs accurately and you must drill pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - especially if you have one mount a heavy TV. Before that there is no escape. Use the "Bolt Finder" to mark the edges of the bolts, then use those marks to find the center point. Do a few passes to be absolutely sure. The kit includes a cardboard template and two bubble levels. Don't worry about which ones to stick on the stencil, just use the large plastic sheet. want to take some measurements here to make sure you are placing the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was pretty much halfway between the two knobs. You can also measure the height of the mount by trying on the part that attaches to the TV and figuring out a little how much you need to move the mount up or down to get the TV where you want it . Drill holes, screw the bracket to the wall and tighten the screws with a wrench. Don't over tighten or you will strip the holes. Make sure you put the mount the right way round (yes, I made that mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit includes a set of screws, washers and bushings suitable for any TV. Every TV is unique and all you need to do is use common sense. Do not overtighten these screws, but the brackets should be secure. Before hanging the TV on the wall bracket, ensure that the tilt and tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to make them perfect, but they need to be close to where they should be now and tight so the bracket doesn't move when you try to hang your TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs there (at first), but it's a lot easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the mounting brackets to the bottom of the TV mount and you're done! The assembly works very smoothly, but requires a little more effort than we would like. I attribute this to the fact that it's brand new and I'm sure a few drops of oil in strategic places will fix this issue. Based on this purely subjective opinion, I would NEVER recommend buying any other mount. The mount is perfect for a large TV. It's a little more expensive than most, but worth every penny.
