Suitable for 5x magnification, not for light.
The mirror is a little wobbly. When you turn on the light, you have to wait a few minutes for the mirror to stop so you can see what you're doing. The size of the mirror is also a bit small, meaning the illuminated circle is right in front of the eyes instead of illuminating the face. But it looks good and I only use it for magnification and not for light to show through to apply makeup. I hate to say that I cannot recommend this product.
