I just upgraded from a queen bed to a cali king bed and finding quality linens was a challenge. I'm a bit of a bed sheet snob, I'll admit, and the thought of buying sheets online without actually feeling them first was hard on me. up to 1500tc whatever i probably had them! And I personally prefer the feel of a firmer/heavier crisp cotton sheet to sleep in first. My favorite sheets for years have been Fieldcrest, Peacock Alley, and Eveb Supima Cotton Co., which are made specifically for Costco. However, now that I sleep in a Cali King bed, finding sheets or ones that fit around the corners of my nearly 17-inch mattress without breaking has become a challenge. So I happened to see these Hyde Lane sheets and decided to try them out as they say the pockets fit up to a 20 inch corner. When I received them I wasn't impressed as they looked nice and sturdy. I washed and dried them. and put her on my bed. The sheet easily covers my deep mattress and leaves room for storage. Elastic seams sewn all around the sheet prevent it from riding up the sides or corners. It stays nice and tight, which I really appreciate. The flat bed sheet has a beautifully finished embroidered crease. If I had to find one downside it would be that I wish the pillowcases had envelope closures, but that has nothing to do with the overall great comfort of these sheets. Durable and soft (especially after washing). I believe the quality of these sheets far exceeds the cost! I immediately sent it back and ordered another set in grey. Can't say for sure if it's really 1000tk, but they're definitely pretty thick. I'm a very hot dreamer. My room needs a cool temperature to sleep well, and these sheets don't make me wake up sweaty or feel the need to pull off the top cover to cool me down. These are my new sheets at the moment and at this price I am more than happy with them! Oh yeah, and watch out. They are made of cotton and therefore crease in the dryer. I'm not the type to iron sheets, but if I'm not you'll need to iron them or look elsewhere. I've added photos to show the fit around the corners of my mattress, the embroidery and sewn-on elastic around the entire perimeter of the stretch sheet. The last photo shows a sheet stretched over my arm to show strength and thickness. Hope that helps!
