I like the hat overall due to its comfort. One of the main reasons I bought it was because of the drawstring to cinch it around my head for a perfect fit. I have another hat that’s too tight so this aspect was important to me. Of course, that part is defective right out of the package.You can see from the pictures where the internal spring is sideways and bulging the plastic. It’s nonfunctional and doesn’t hold the drawstring. I ended up tying a knot to keep it where I want it. Shouldn’t have to do that but it works and I like everything else about the hat so I’m going to keep it.I did get caught in the rain while working and the hat worked exceptionally well at keeping rain off my glasses. It didn’t turn into a floppy soggy mess when it was wet which was great. So it’s more than just a sun hat.
