Review on Teak Suzanne Square Kitchen Table by Winsome Wood by Kunjan Alston

Almost impossible to build

Overall I'm happy with this as I moved into an odd shaped loft with a counter. However, this is a modern marvel of utterly idiotic design. It took me about an hour to assemble, and half of that time was spent attaching the table top to the support legs. Because the screw holes are on the underside of the table top, they are hidden by the support beams and therefore invisible when attempting to attach two. This wouldn't be a problem if the pre-drilled holes weren't so tiny and oddly aligned that you have to screw the holes in to widen them first. Table and so it falls down when you turn the table over to secure the top. Well that in and of itself wouldn't be a problem, except that the sheet support won't fit under the countertop because: a) the height adjustment takes up too much space; b) the mounting plates on the support arm are not flush and; c) The hinges on the support arm are crooked, making it impossible to align the two components. I'm a graduate student so I'm no stranger to cheap 'BIY' style furniture, but this was the worst experience I've had. I had already started building. The included Allen key is too long to turn under the table and I had to pull out my own assembly tool to finish. the process was a painstaking mess and for that reason alone i will never buy it again.
