I was impressed with the quality of this product. Definitely a lot stronger than I expected. My middle finger on my left hand was affected by snap finger a few years ago and I got a cortisone shot while having surgery on two fingers on my right hand that ended up stuck in the UP position. Now my left finger gets triggered again and after a few times it hurts like hell. This splint is perfect for preventing triggering and allowing time to heal and reduce inflammation. Definitely worth trying before you decide on another painful injection. If you haven't had it, trust me, it hurts a lot. Give it a try, take an anti-inflammatory medication and see if it helps. Another thing, it has a thin piece of metal to keep it VERY strong that can be removed through a slit (they were shiny to accommodate that). I used tweezers to pry it out of one of my finger splints and it was hard enough for me.
