Excellent Sparks, Tolerable Wicks
The wick tends to degrade far more quickly than I'd like, but as a survival/camping firestarter, it'll serve you well even without fuel. Much easier to get strong sparking than most magnesium strikers I've tried. When the fuel and wick are fresh, it's a brilliant flame.
- These are the only permanent matches I've used that don't leak over time, very reliable
- The keychain design may make it difficult to use and hold in certain situations, especially for those with larger hands
