Review on New Balance Womens Minimus Running Women's Shoes by Andrea Nash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you go barefoot, decrease the size by half. If you want to wear socks, go half a size up

I bought a size 7 wide and returned a 6.5 wide. rescued 7. I was concerned as my feet are swollen and I live in a high humidity condition. It also allows wearing thin socks. Arch support is almost absent and does not hurt the bottom of the foot. They have a wide toe box - ONLY if you buy a size plus - otherwise the regular ones are too narrow due to the strap they added over the toe box. They have a 4mm drop which is acceptable given the perfect fit. The manufacturer's site says they also have an antimicrobial, but I'll know for sure in a few days. I bought black and black and blue and plan to keep both. -------------- I've also tried a couple of Merrels running shoes and will leave my reviews here in case others look for differences. If you plan on wearing socks, I would go up half a size. Tried on 6.5 and 7. See pic with all 3 shoes _____________________________ Merrel Vapor 3 Glove - Zero Drop No arch support Terrible rubber smell Toe box in upper is really uncomfortable over toenail (not front) due to shoe material height is too short. If it makes sense Or I have a high toe. The width was acceptable (I need a width), 7 was a bit large, maybe ok if I was wearing socks. The 6.5 gloves were a better length but were too tight at the top of the toe. _____________________________________________ Merrel Trail Glove 4-Zero Drop. There is hardly any arch support. The fit is VERY tight, especially on the outer edge. high The widest toe of all 7 is too big. The 6.5 felt tighter, but the toe on the nail tip was too stiff. I want this to work as I wanted to be barefoot with a stone slab without falling.

Pros
