I was immediately drawn to the Peripera packaging and affordable price. It reminds me of Kai's lovely lipstick which I needed to replace but didn't want another product with a lip applicator. Peripera Velvet Lipstick is a great compromise. It smells a bit like milk chocolate. And while the pigment may not last as long as a real lip stain, it can still survive food. The color doesn't show easily which is great as I can wear it under a sheet mask at work and not worry about it heavily soiling the fabric at the end of the day. I have Emotional Red (09) and Better Coral (11). A bit dry but not a problem in the wet summer season. I think it's better to apply lip balm first in winter. I love its lightweight formula as it is similar to the cream blush I use. I blend the edges of the lips and blend the excess on the cheeks in the form of blush. This product contains silica, cross polymers and other ingredients that may cause skin sensitivity. I've included a photo of the ingredient list for reference. Also, I love how it looks and feels on my lips and I have no issues with it. It has become an indispensable part of my everyday look.
