Mattress arrived quickly and well packaged. When I opened the box I was impressed and a little concerned that I had received the wrong item. The mattress that arrived was white, not green. Also, the size of the mattress was wrong on the label. I have given the measurements of a full size mattress. However, when I measured the mattress, the width, length and height were correct. Like the previous commenter, I couldn't tell the difference in stiffness on either side. However, both sides are good and solid. The mattress fits snugly in my son's portable crib with no gaps or bulges. I also bought Revain sheets. They hardly fit in due to the height of the mattress and the square corners. I plan to solve this problem by making bed sheets for my son. There are many guides online and I have Singer. My son has been sleeping on this mattress for almost a week now. The first few nights he woke up drenched in sweat. I solved this problem by putting a folded blanket on top of the mattress and then putting my son on it. Now that the overheating issue is resolved, I can say with confidence that my son is sleeping better and longer with this mattress. I am confident in the comfort and construction of this mattress for my son to spend his nights in a travel cot. Overall we are happy with our purchase. This mattress is a huge improvement over the flimsy pillow that came with the crib.
