So I bought these for two (2) purposes: 1) to display my The Matrix Ultimate box set and 2) to hold my Nintendo Switch. I chose to install the shelf upside down for the matrix box set. The weight is within the stated weight limit for the item. The box set is at an angle of at least 10 degrees. 😕 I think if I put it right side up would it be ok? Although, okay, because removing the shelf is something of a mystery. The instructions say to heat the tape with a hair dryer and then pry it off with a knife. I don't have a hair dryer so I couldn't change the position. I wish it had 3M strips or something. The shelf hasn't broken yet, but I'm not happy with how it turned out. It works perfectly for Nintendo Switch. The problem is that the cable hole is in the middle of the shelf and the switch cables exit out the side. So it's not really suitable for holding a switch. I made it so that the HDMI cable doesn't go through the hole in the shelf, just the power cable, but that seems silly to me. It was a good buy but not what I was hoping and expecting. I'm disappointed.
