I bought this camera for my 7 year old daughter to stop using my phone to take pictures. I didn't want to spend too much money on a camera since it's young and there's a risk of it breaking, but I didn't want to pick a really cheap camera with poor image quality. This is a very reasonable price for a digital camera. It comes with a wrist strap, SD card, charging cable and 2 batteries, one for use and one for backup. I was really excited to have a backup battery, we're going camping for a few days and having an extra battery when you're out of power is great. The image quality on the camera's preview screen is very good, I haven't had a chance to print out the photos taken yet, but I hope so! There are a few features and settings we haven't tested yet, but the display is easy to navigate, using the various buttons to change settings, zoom in and out, change quality settings, view captured images, and more has a plastic case so it's light weight, I might look for some sort of case to protect it from scratches if she drops it. All in all a great camera for kids to get started with digital photography!
