Very good pump, especially for the price. I just bought a goldfish tank for big sons (obviously his fish is immortal as we had this carnival goldfish for 2 years and in tank #3) as the 1 gallon cube we used went small for goldie . He has a different pump for his beta tank, which is fine, but I can hear him in the hallway. Not this one. is it quiet no But it's quieter than other air pumps I've used and others I've ordered, tried and returned.
