Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy S10, 128GB Flamingo Pink - Fully Unlocked for Easy Access by Adisorn Nasa ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Before that, there was a galaxy a5 2022, and I wanted a normal phone with a better camera, and I was ready to take the A series, until it turned out that all modern phones are shovels. Thus, the main criterion was the dimensions of the phone, and here the choice was greatly narrowed down to flagships. I chose between s9, s10e and s20. Although the choice was not the most equivalent, given how difficult it is to find the first two in a new condition, and they cost the same or more than the s10 at the end of 2022. Therefore, all arguments for the s9 and s10e were broken by the desire to buy a more advanced phone for the same money. Yes, and s10e by the time of purchase simply did not remain anywhere, and the gray s9 frightened with the inability to ate. I fell in love with s20 in an offline store as soon as I picked it up, and I didn’t even feel much about s10, it somehow immediately lost against its background. Despite being almost the same size, and even taller due to being so narrow and thin, the s20 just feels incredibly native in the hand. Unfortunately, the negative reviews about the heating of the phone scared away + jack 3.5 + price. Perhaps in s21 the situation with heating was corrected, but for some reason we will make it wider and remove the curved screen. Oh my I doubted whether I needed a curved screen at all, my old phone flew all the time, I took off the cover from it a long time ago - it infuriates me, only a film on the screen, and everything is fine. And this one is so scary to drop that so far I have never done it. I hope to continue to manage the situation . And at first I didn’t even really like it, but I quickly got used to it and now I’m enjoying the curved frames! The glare on the sides is a little annoying, but I did not notice any accidental touches. In general, beauty requires sacrifice. As for the battery, I set up adaptive modes wherever possible. Set power saving automatically when low battery (bixby scenario). If you know that it is not possible to charge the phone all day somewhere on a trip or in the cold, immediately set this mode. Turn off AOD at night, if possible, put dark, better black themes everywhere, at least in the evening

Pros
  • - the presence of a 3.5 jack is a huge plus for me. In a sense, even critical, why I did not buy s20. I'm not ready to become a slave to another expensive, draining device - I'm talking about bluetooth headphones, the sound quality of which is obviously worse than wired ones. - excellent cameras. Particularly pleased with the wide-angle and pictures in the dark. Night mode, as I understand it, is needed when it’s completely impossible to make out anything in the dark, but at dusk you can do without lights and without it! - you can replace the Bixby button with something else, I didn’t come up with anything except Shazam, because you still need to unlock the phone first. It's pointless to put a camera there. Just press the power button twice and the camera will open. It's the fastest. I recommend to everyone who bought the phone to find and read about its cool chips. Side lighting for example. - with a black screen, just an incredibly beautiful monolithic little thing. On black wallpaper, the frames are not visible at all In general, I like everything about the phone, so I will only go over the shortcomings, but so far on the market it seems to be the best phone for me
Cons
  • - small battery for the highest screen resolution (the question is, why do I need such a resolution if it is not recommended to set it due to high power consumption) - appearance: inferior to s20 in everything except the location of the cameras (for taste and color), and the color of aquamarine. Asymmetrical bezels, thick side bezels, heavily curved screen with side glare, large front-facing cutout, width and weight - a factory film on the screen, which I'm afraid to take off, because they say that I won't find it better. Meanwhile, on a bright screen, I see the reflection of the pixels from this film. Everywhere they write that the film is completely invisible to the eye, then maybe there is something wrong with my phone? Until I got to offline stores to compare with others. Before that, there was a galaxy a5 2022, and it didn’t have such problems with a film from aliexpress, and the screen was about the same there, and to be honest, it was more pleasant to look at the screen of an old phone than at the flagship screen. This is especially annoying when reading books. Strange things. - the curved screen is easier to break, it is not covered by a regular cover, and without a cover / film it is dangerous to wear such beauty because of the easily scratched and breaking glass - for me, the dimensions are still large, especially in width. For a man's hand, this is an ideally compact phone, but apparently no one thought about women's hands. Unlike the same s9 and s20. In my opinion, it is incorrect to compare with s10e - this is a lightweight version, moreover, it is even wider in terms of proportions. When the screen is off, it seems smaller)) - there is no function to display the content of messages when looking at the lock screen, and not just when you pick it up. This feature is available on the iPhone. Very convenient, the other person will not read the message, and you do not need to unlock the phone to see the message (although in my opinion this is the only thing that the iPhone has succeeded compared to the Samsung) - the screen is too glossy. Or is it film? All this can be called trifles, so I still put 5 on the phone.
