I have been sewing for many, many years. My girlfriend recently asked me to change her swimsuit and I agreed. I don't sew knitwear that often and thought I'd made a huge mistake as I immediately agreed to do that when I started. I've tried every combination of thread, needle, and stitch pattern on two different machines and the results have been nasty: thread breaks, skipped stitches, folds, thread balls, etc. So I put that aside and started researching and came across these "stretching needles". ' that promised perfection. It sounded like hype but I thought it was worth a try otherwise I got stuck. And – OMG – it really WAS sewing perfection! I checked every stitch which I had previously tried to no avail and they all looked beautiful. I fixed my girlfriend's swimsuit and I know she will be happy with it. In addition to my versatile pointed, leather and ballpoint pen tips, I have now also added stretch needles to my inventory. Hello Schmez!
