I used a Rustoleum cabinet transformation in a previous renovation. Decided to give it a try as I preferred the Nuvo color schemes. However, after trying both products, I prefer Rustoleum Nuvo. First you need to sand the body with Nuvo while with Rustoleum just use the included deglazer (which I left over so I used that during the process as well). Top coat is not included which I think is a mistake as there were some dents and stains even after a month of vacancy and curing time. Let's see how it holds up over time. Our previous cabinets lasted 3 years without chipping. The color is very thin and does not cover any strokes. We used a spray gun, but all the strokes are clearly visible with a brush. The included roller leaves a bubble surface. I love that you can buy Nuvo individually without having to buy the whole kit like you would with Rustoleum. Overall, the kitchen looks amazing, but next time I'll go back to the Rustoleum cabinet transformation.
