Review on UV Protected Halter Swimwear For Little Girls: SwimZip'S 2 Piece Set With UPF 50+ (In Various Colors) by Shannon Sims

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Darling fit but piling on the butt after 1 wear and color fade immediately

I bought 2 of these for my two girls size 3t and 4t. The fit is great and they are cute as can be however, after one swimming lesson they were starting to pill on the rump. They have not started to discolor yet. ( 3 weeks so far) truely the black suit did not not discolor even over time.Update so I still love the cut and fit of the suit so I gave it another try.this time I tried the blue/polkadot so far the butt has not pilled however after 5 half hour swimming lessons it is faded so bad that target suits hold their color better very disappointing for the cost these are not cheap suits to look ratty after 5 swims ( and yes we rinse them immediately and keep them out of the dryer)The suit does fit true to size.So ultimately I removed another star down to 3 stars color fade is worse than butt pilling

Pros
  • START SUN SAFETY NOW– Protecting kids from the sun starts on day one. Wrapping your kids in something that is sun protective, comfortable, affordable, and cute is SwimZip’s #1 goal.
Cons
  • Depending on the price point, the swimwear may be too expensive for budget-conscious families or those who prioritize affordability over style and functionality
