Good deal for the price but not worth a happy dance

Live up to expectations. The seller did not receive the shipment on time, so arrived about 2 weeks later than expected and spoke to the seller before it was finally shipped or picked up by the carrier for shipment. Note that some labels say "rocking chair" (as does the shipping box), but it's not a rocking chair. However, because its frame is made of bent wood, it has rebound/give, making it suitable for those who are more comfortable fidgeting around when seated. Somehow spring inside. The picture does not show how the back has a shape and bend, it is not straight, but wavy, in the upper wave the pillow folds, forming a pillow for the head and, as it were, filling this wave. . It will fit different people very differently where the curves meet - so it might be comfortable for some and not so comfortable for someone else. Once assembled it looks simple (which can add more balance to your decor depending on the look you want) but doesn't look or feel like it's going to fall apart on you. The armrests as you can see in the picture are not padded and also curve upwards which may not be comfortable at all for some people as you may not use them for your arms or you may not want your hands in and on them lie to them. But for others it may be ideal. I'm about 5ft 2" tall and this chair isn't too far off the floor for me and the seat back to front isn't too long. It's more like a lounge chair that you have reclined than you sit more upright. It's not really designed or intended for those who like to sit in a chair with their legs raised, but works well with a stool. I saw in another review that they didn't think the pillow was soft enough - although I found the pillow soft enough. Assembly: Not very difficult, but I would suggest using wood glue on the tips of the dowels and anywhere the wood will be pressed against the wood after assembly - it doesn't come with wood glue or instructions for use like this with the Most of the case is -it-yourself elements, but I've used some of them. The holes for the dowels and for the screw/bolt passage are of the same diameter and side by side, making it easy to accidentally put the dowel in one of the wrong holes, so be careful when inserting the dowels. (A lot of do-it-yourself products have an anchor diameter larger than screws or bolts, so you can't misplace them and get stuck, especially when the holes are adjacent like this chair). I would also recommend that someone help or at least use a dining room chair to support the pieces during assembly, although this can be done alone, it would be easier with an extra pair of hands to line up the connectors. on both sides at the same time. It's a decent deal for the price, but overall it's not amazing and not worth dancing for. It will get used to it and not only gather dust in the corner but is unlikely to become anyone's favorite chair to curl up with for hours with a good book. Aesthetically, this is not a chair that stands out, which may be fine depending on your existing decor. I think there's a kind of elegance to it because of its simplicity.
