After testing both this device and the DataVac, I can conclude that this device is better. The problem with the DataVac is that its body is made of metal which gets very hot and the body is in two parts that are joined together in the center of the device. This is an inherent design flaw that results in air being blown through the case during operation, thereby reducing the total effective flushing capacity of the unit. Some units are worse than others. However, this Airrow does not have this problem, its body is made of high quality ABS plastic (the same used in football helmets) and is actually slightly more powerful, also without correcting a design flaw compared to the DataVac. .None of the fans are a substitute for particulate matter in computer components such as B. deep-seated dust in heat sinks. I don't think there is anything better than compressed air in this regard. However, it will do a pretty good job of removing dust from your computer case and dust from fans. If you're considering the DataVac ED500, get this one. even without considering the corrected design error compared to the DataVac.
