Well made and durable
We bought this to replace a scratching post that was literally worn out by our cat Tess. At first we had to cover the scratching post with catnip, now Tess uses a pillow to sharpen her claws several times a day. The attached tassel doesn't interest her. You can omit this. Otherwise good value for money.
