Review on Melissa Doug Flashlight Easy Grip Handle by Gabe Smith

I don't like that the light is LED! I bought this toy thinking it would be a safe toy for my 2 year old. But unfortunately too bright. Of course, the child will naturally draw the light into his eyes. So I shone it into mine and was practically blind for three seconds. I tried painting the outside of the lens with a black permanent marker to darken it and it didn't work. I even went as far as trying to take the lamp housing out to see if I could replace the lamp or tape the inside of the lens (so the kid couldn't pull the tape off), but it's all taped. The tape on the outside of the lens seems to work a bit. Malissa and Doug are very disappointed. We don't need LEDs in our children's toys to blind themselves!
