I was skeptical but finally pulled the trigger during a sale for these compression stockings. For 4 months I have had very painful shin splints. I have new shoes that don't fit. Ice and rest helped, but then they returned. And I didn't want to stop running and jumping. I read about several products and their reviews and decided to try them. They went through very easily which I was concerned about after reading the reviews. They felt great and weren't too long. I personally didn't find them too tight but took them to the gym for a test ride, no shin splints or soreness when exercising! But later that day I felt a pang of pain. NOTHING compared to feeling like it would literally crack or break in half when walking or jogging. My only issue was with the sizing, I read the size chart and ordered accordingly (large). I sent them back and got the average difference. GIGANTIC! MUCH safer, more concise feel. ! No pain during or after. I have big, muscular calves but not that big shins/ankles. I think maybe it's because of that? If you are in pain or struggling with a shin splint I would highly recommend them. I've only washed once and they've held up great so the quality is good in that regard so far, but I've air dried/hang dried them. Try them!
