We used this bow for an outdoor prom. It worked great and looked fantastic until 25mph winds hit. We've already tied him down with three 30 pound sandbags and strong fishing wire. We also tied him to the stage with fishing wire; it stayed strong even in 20-mile winds. But when the wind hit 25 miles an hour, the black pole split and broke. You see two nice photos of me "before it broke" and then a photo of me "after it broke". I would recommend it for an indoor arch or for outdoors on a fairly windless day. I got sooooo many compliments in the first few hours before it broke.
