It's ok but unforgiving. The GoPro Ball Head Mount allows you to adjust the height of your camera/footage when you don't have a perfectly flat mounting location that's all about pan and tilt. Spin/turn is weaker than expected, so I expect some hesitation or full spin at high speed. It also has no rubber snaps and popped out of the base once (it wasn't fully fixed - it never happened with my GoPro version). Luckily I caught it before the GoPro got lost or sucked up the prop on my Genesis submersible. Great inexpensive and unobtrusive solution if it suits your needs, but it doesn't work for me.
