We renovate kitchens. We have less space and wanted to make sure there was enough seating on the island when the kids got home. These stools were a pleasant surprise. They arrived in 4 pieces which were very easy to assemble with only 4 screws. The instructions are very clear and concise, each only took a few minutes. They feel solid and the seat looks and feels good. There is a layer of padding under the faux leather. My husband and I love the fact that we can adjust the height and have it rotate all the way so it's easy to turn on and off. I like the size, big enough to sit comfortably (I'm not petite) but they don't take up too much space and allow us freedom of movement. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them.
