Great tablet, but beware!

I'll get rid of that first. If you want to configure the tablet driver software settings and run Windows 10, you MUST go to the driver installation folder and change the TabletDriverSetting.exe and TabletDriverCenter.exe properties to run as administrator on every startup. I'm not entirely sure what I think of this tablet requiring admin privileges when to be honest it's completely unnecessary, but it doesn't matter. I've flipped the software in IDA Pro and a few other programs and haven't seen anything dangerous. Moving on: Pros: - SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than most 10x6 tablets on the market as it has no PHYSICAL buttons. - Touch control makes life SUPER easy and removes the consumables from the tablet. - Physical buttons with microswitches that have a short lifespan. - REALLY 8192 pressure levels (I've seen it go down to 15 and even that was a chore. Most "normal" arm weight gets you to about 100 before you really feel like you're touching the tablet. ) - Works with Windows 10 (mostly) out of the box. - Has no issues with Photoshop CC 2014 sensitivity setting to 32 or 64 bit. - Battery-free pen means no more fragile pen bodies that can easily break. - SUPER thin - Just over 9mm thick - See other thoughts) - The matte lacquer finish means it's significantly less "sticky" than some of the cheapest tablets on the market, so you can use it without gloves fairly comfortably, and it's not a fingerprint magnet (for the most part - the touch controls are glossy. really, why was it needed?) - INCREDIBLY LIGHT (I'd forget I was holding it if I ever had to. - The Design is actually well thought out due to sort of "rectangle" with rounded corners I'm pretty sure IF dropped it would survive just fine (at least the edges and corners, obviously the top surface would be damaged if anything on it hits.) - The pen comes in a small case d To carry to protect your tips when travelling.- Detachable USB Type-C cable with 90Β° twist means you can connect it not only to your tablet close, but also don't have to worry about the cable tearing when you travel! (BONUS POINTS!) Cons: (Honestly, it's just quibble) - The package comes with a paper "driver CD" with instructions on how to go to a URL - The problem with this is changing that URL and all you need is so they forget to pay for registering their domain name within 1 minute and someone else might own their website url and the url in the box doesn't work anymore. For this reason I despise this choice. Tiny flash drives are VERY cheap now, and disks aren't COMPLETELY written yet! - "Action Zone" (four-way touch control pad) SEEMS like something you could use to "scroll up to zoom in". "But it's not. As far as I can tell, it's just a 4-way sensory D-pad. The bottom edge where your forearm enters the 'pull zone' is the same flat, Slightly rounded 9mm thick face like all others the sides and corners are in. It makes it a bit awkward but it's not really a problem. It would be nice to see a slight bevel BUT it would increase the retail space needed and potentially creating a weak point in structural integrity, so "I'm not really complaining. "They come with a neoprene sleeve for the tablet itself. I'm not sure if it's due to the surface of the tablet, some sort of coating on the plastic, or the pens themselves. but you'll get ENOUGH creaking at first Get movement until it wears out a bit and is quite annoying. (That's my only REAL complaint. - Must edit executable to edit settings when you could SIMPLY be flagged for it in Visual Studio when programming debug/release compile! (I look at you software developers!) Conclusion : Given the ease of use, cost, size, design and form/functionality of a tablet, you would be frankly crazy not to!
