I bought this particular chair cover because or the strap that runs around the back to hold it in place. It does work, but the strap doesn't keep that nice flat tidy look that the illustration shows. My chair is much like the one in the illustration. I think something simple like putting some sort of fuzzy coating on the clips that hold it would keep the clips from turning sideways. I took off a star for that portion of the design, but I may be being too fussy because the covers (I bought two) do exactly what they are supposed to do at a reasonable price short of having custom made slip covers. I even spilled coffee (not as a deliberate test) on one, put it into the washing machine, hung it out to dry, and it came out looking as good as ever. What I really bought it for is to save my expensive re-upholstery job from the dog. It works well. It goes fine into the drier, coming out looking like new.
