Review on πŸ’¦ Optimized Cooling & Construction with NZXT H510 Computer Components for Water-Cooled Systems by Jhonathan Bagwell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It may be a great case but besides the lower price there are also disadvantages

NZXT H510 Black/Red I think it's probably worth knowing that this case lives up to your expectations due to the fact that all the options and reviews really are not met tend to be more expensive. It's basically a well built case, nice design principles and will definitely get the job done at a much lower price point than other cases. This isn't the NZXT H510i or the Elite or the H710. . It doesn't have RGB strips. It doesn't have a smart fan sensor. It has no front fans. And the only dust filters are below. As a nitpick I was very happy with the layout of the case and all of the front panel elements work well, but that ends my praise. At first it was a 510 box with a big H210 mini-ATX chassis sticker on the front that made me panic for a second. Then I ran into a Gigabyte AORUS motherboard installation issue as only the top middle screw was misaligned (I didn't have a spare to check which one was to blame, sorry). The fans are only 3 pins, very basic but works well so far. The front panel works great, but the actual power/LED cable on the front panel also doesn't fit on the Gigabyte board, so you'll need to use the splitter extension provided by NZXT to connect these pins individually. Finally, the thumbscrews on both side panels are of very poor design. They don't fit well and appear in almost every other curve. It could have been better. In the end I'm happy with it, but I'd also like to either shell out the 710i or get a different case. I understand why the NZXT name has become such a big name. To be honest I was excited to try one of their cases but they really need a bit more attention to detail in these things for it to be the amazing it could be. Hope that helps. As a small update I'm still happy with this case, for the price it probably deserves 4 stars after some shopping, but since the sound on the front is worse than I first realized I can't actually tell if you have the Just putting fans in a better case, like regular AER 4-pin fans, and making better thumbscrews, that would be the obvious choice.
