Bought this item to use as a tranquilizer. Airflow helps with panic attacks. Even the lowest setting is a nice breeze, and I (pictured) decided to try higher power for cooling when working on the lawn. Worked like a charm, felt so much better in the heat and didn't get sick afterwards this time! The product is LIGHT, but after wearing it for a while and taking it off you will notice that there is no pressure or weight on the neck. Gentle pressure can be calming for some, so this shows again that this is a good calming device for me. Limited use so can't comment on battery life or overall lifespan, but I'm a fan.
