I fitted them to my Team Wendy EXFIL helmet using Peltor quick release adapter plates. In short, these rail adapters don't offer enough tension to fit snugly around your ears, which is necessary to protect your ears from loud gunshots (which is a big part of what many of us use Howard Leights headphones for). I've tried several ear pads, including gels, but the tension/seal doesn't even come close to what a standard headband does. However, for other purposes, like airsoft or just using audio amplification exclusively, this should work very well and be very comfortable. When properly installed on the latest model, they don't just "fall" off the wires, as noted elsewhere. They appear to be fairly secure and work as expected, except for the issue described above.
