The slime is very sticky

I got this for my kids to make slime for the first time. The instructions seemed simple, just mix the glue and magic solution. However, I followed the directions and my mucus was very sticky. It stuck to my children's hair and my clothes. I tried wiping it off my clothes with shaving cream but it wouldn't come off. I was wondering if I should put more than 2 scoops of magic solution in 5 ounces of glue or if I got a bad batch. I will not let my child play until I find out.
