Review on πŸŽ’ Ultimate Urban Commuting Companion: TIMBUK2 Especial Commuter Velocity Backpacks by James Kelley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Compact and water-resistant, but very simple

On the plus side, this backpack is compact and water-resistant, making it handy for commuting when you don't have much to carry and risk getting wet in the rain. This is my pet peeve when people on the subway have huge backpacks crashing into others, and I find it very handy for cycling, even though I'm a hiker myself. However, this is nothing special. A small pocket and two bottle pockets on the outside and a laptop compartment and two narrow pockets on the inside, that's it. One of the reasons I wanted this was to have room for my sports bottle and unfortunately it's cramped and uncomfortable. Even when I put it on, it curves inward so you can't put anything in the inside pocket. If you are looking for a simple and weather-resistant backpack, this backpack is a good option for you. If you need more space or pockets to stash your belongings, there aren't too many.

Pros
  • SMART ACCESSORIES: chain strap for attachment; The famous hexagonal beer tikki; key holder in pocket; soft touch; Reflective U-shaped pullers for visibility and ease of use; Accessory loops for accessories
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
