uses this with the "new" waterproof Renogy Voyager Controller (there are three of them) at an ambient temperature of approx. with a voltage of 12.7 was read as 13.1 or so Togo . The battery and controller were a few inches apart, and the temperature sensor was to the right of the battery. As soon as I disconnected the temperature sensor, the readings on the Voyager controller matched the battery voltage (according to two voltmeters - one random). I have found these sensors to continually undercharge multiple batteries by reading battery voltage 0.5 volts above normal. This is rubbish as far as I can tell.
