Pumpkin Seed Oil is a dry oil that absorbs quickly into the face and scalp. It has the aroma of delicious roasted pumpkin seeds from which this oil is derived :) This is the perfect complement to peppermint oil. I used to use peppermint oil with coconut oil but the coconut oil flavor is mixed with peppermint oil making the scent smell like peppermint but very pungent. I have found that PSO works perfectly with peppermint oil :) I have always found it to stimulate my head more effectively than if I had used it with coconut oil. And peppermint oil smells WAAAA better, as it should when you mix it with PSO, than coconut oil. If you mix a floral/sweet essential oil with coconut oil, you will experience a mixed/different scent when the scents blend. You can't go wrong with coconut oil. But pumpkin seed oil is 100% better carrier oil for peppermint than any carrier oil I've ever used: coconut oil, jojoba oil, ALL ABOVE :) The only reason I'm not giving this product 5 stars is because it says 4 fl oz and I got 1 fl oz. I feel a little betrayed. So if I want a large bottle of PSO, unfortunately I have to go elsewhere :( FYI: This carrier oil, like ALL other oils, WILL NOT grow your hair in places it doesn't already, and won't yours Hair grows faster. So if you're hoping for that, you'll be disappointed. Also, it doesn't leave a damp feeling on your face/hair as it dries quickly too.
