Apple didn't have a USB cable A is USB C which would allow data transfer (backup ) I researched the quality of the cable and Belkin met my expectations For those of you unsure if this cable will work with your new 2021 iPad Pro, yes I bought the wired version which I carried over all my data on my macbook now i can reset my pro to a new one.
