Cute sweatshirt, very soft stretch material! I would call it a midweight shirt, it's a double layer but the layers aren't very thick. Our son's birthday party was outside and it was about 45 degrees. We layered it over fleece pajamas and it stayed warm enough. I liked that he had a long torso. Our son is tall and thin so it fits very well. We used this for our little shark themed birthday party and as a Halloween costume. We needed a suit that wouldn't restrict his movements and he did great.
