The highest praise I can give is that I didn't notice it mountain biking. No poking, shoulder straps slipping, leg leaks, nothing. The only thing I would say is that they could have made it possible to install a tube on each side strap, but they didn't. The little band that the magnetic clip sticks to is just on the right side, not where I wear my hose. However, it keeps it where I can drink hands-free most of the time (it slips occasionally). And the bite valve is square, you have to bite from the side or nothing. My old Source bag was round, position didn't matter. Although it has a nice folding lever to turn off the water. Simple, if it bothers you, then it's off, it doesn't bother you, it's on. Filling is another thing entirely, it's very inconvenient to fill it to the end because you have to lay it flat while holding "under "chin" (there's a plastic tab for that), then pour it into the hole without spilling it into the rest of the pack. Opening at the top, "fold and put on the pole" worked a lot easier on my Source bag. And since I didn't see it closed well here, here is the packing It has a top zip that takes you to the water pouch, you can put stuff in there but I won't.Just below/behind is another zip with a pocket that goes 2/3 of the length to the bottom of the pack , about 3" below, is an open-top pocket that also goes down. Directly below is another zippered pocket, still about 12" deep, that also drops all the way down. Inside is a smaller pocket with a key clip over it and two small mesh pockets that fit an energy bar or something like that. And I don't have magnet panics, worst case scenario your phone is on the opposite strap, 4-5 inches apart, I carry mine in my pocket so no worries. Extra pocket on another strap, easy to reach and use with one hand when you smash or break something and can't take off the backpack. The old CB lasted 20 years and only a broken zipper led to replacement. If these are good I will be in the ground before it breaks and turns 60 next month.
